Last Pirates: Die Together Demo Guide

Is the demo available now?

Check the official Steam pages before downloading. The official Steam Community announcement currently says the demo has closed. The dedicated Steam demo page is still the correct place to check if the team reopens access or publishes another playtest.

How to get the demo when it is open

  1. Open the official Last Pirates: Die Together Demo page on Steam.
  2. Check whether Steam shows an install or playtest access button. If it does not, the demo is not currently open to new players.
  3. Install through Steam, then check the current build notes before inviting your crew.
  4. If the page is closed, follow the main game store page and the official Steam Community announcements for the next access window.

What to test first

  1. Launch with one teammate first, then test a full four-player crew if access allows it.
  2. Practice movement, grabbing, throwing, and hauling objects from different distances.
  3. Learn how quickly the crew can carry loot back to safety instead of overcommitting to one room.
  4. Use one run to identify monster behavior, danger signals, and a reliable escape route.
  5. After the run, report bugs or confusing interactions through the feedback channel linked by the developer.

What the demo is useful for

A demo or playtest is most useful for validating the core co-op loop: moving through dangerous areas, grabbing treasure, coordinating with friends, and making it back alive. Treat maps, available characters, balance, and access dates as temporary because playtest builds can change before launch.

Demo FAQ

Where is the official demo download?

Use the dedicated Steam Demo page. Do not rely on third-party download mirrors.

Why can’t I install the demo?

The official Steam Community announcement says the demo has closed. If Steam does not show an install or playtest button, wait for a new official access window.

Can I play the demo with friends?

The project is designed around co-op play, but the exact party access and build rules can change by demo or playtest. Confirm the current Steam page before planning a session.

Is the demo the same as the full game?

No. A demo or playtest is a limited snapshot. Do not assume its maps, content, progression, or release timing will match the final game.
