Survival tips

Monsters and survival tips

The safest crew is not the bravest crew. It is the one that keeps exits known, loot moving, and panic short.

Five survival habits

  • Use short callouts: exit, monster, trap, loot, stuck.
  • Never let the whole crew enter an unknown room at once.
  • Drop low-value loot when a rescue is more important.
  • Use elastic arms to recover teammates, not only treasure.
  • Leave with partial loot when the return route gets noisy.

Handling monster encounters

When a monster appears, stop hauling first. One player should watch the threat while the rest rotate toward the exit. Only recover dropped treasure after the crew is stable.

Common mistakes

Greed runs

Trying to carry every item makes the crew slow and split.

Silent teams

Without callouts, every room becomes a surprise.

No exit memory

Exploration is useful only if someone remembers the way out.
